Sopt Mount Dapi
¡¡¡¡The Scenic spot of Mount Dapi is situated in the county town of Xunxian county.oneof the national historic coultural reserve city.To the west of the countytown is the Jingguang Railway and Jingshen highway.The original river bed lies in the south of the town.
¡¡¡¡The scenery in the area is very beautiful with the city built upon the mountain,and river floating around and many temples in the area.
¡¡¡¡Mount Dapi is one of the famous mountain mentioned earliest in the historical records.The mount is green covered with pine trees and the temples are deep and secluded.Emperors like Liu Xiu and Li Shimin(Emperor of the Tang Dynasty)had been here.The sculptures by famous chinese artists like Wang Yangming and Wang Duo canbe seen everywhere.The scenery varies with the distinctive features of the four seasons.The area is also famous for a huge sculpture known as the oldest in China and the biggest in the north of the China,which was built in the Later Zhou Dynasty.The thousand year old Tianning Temple,the secluded Lu Zu Temple make the mountain mysterious and arouse the interest to explore it.
¡¡¡¡Mount Fu Qiu stands opposite of Dapi.The Temple of thousand Budda vividly reveals the characteristics of carving art in Tang Dynasty.
¡¡¡¡The Bixia Palace with over ten thousand square meters is a unique and dovetailed building.The Temple Fair isheld in the first month of the Chinese Lunar calendar,which lasts over a month,attracting thousands of visitors.
